My friend Joe feels this blog should contain something other than posts about my children. Needless to say, I have TONS of other stuff going on. So, Joe, this is what I’ve been up to:

I won a Nobel Peace Prize. This is me parking in my “special spot.”

I ate some jelly beans.

I planted some stuff. Yep, that’s a shopping cart.

The broccoli I planted rapidly did this. Some people call that “going to seed,” but I prefer “gracefully blossoming.”

I went to Calistoga. Dang it! My kids are in this photo!
Sorry, Joe. Last time I went on vacation without them, I got an ugly phone call from the police.

I ate some macaroons.

I got an upper-ear piercing. OK, so there is a toy in the background of this one, too.

After I put the…nobody…to bed, I had some wine. And read books.

I went to Portland to see my friend Beth. It rained. But also, the lead singer of the Airborne Toxic Event sang to me, which was awesome. And also kind of awkward.
I did some baking.
So, as you can see by this photo evidence, I do LOTS of awesome stuff. And this was only one day! Phew, I’m tired. Time for some pie.
